I'm so used to that acronym that I don't think about other people not knowing what it means.

You had some very creative guesses, too, but alas, none were correct. (I really liked "Soggy White Indigenous Missionaries"...)

SWIM stands for Seminary Wives in Ministry. It's mission is to "equip wives to be competent servants alongside their husbands in ministry." It puts on various programs throughout the year to help the wives get connected with each other and the seminary during their time there: a self-study program, small group Bible studies, seminars, retreats, etc.

Thanks for asking!Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14819041544637116123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1694428577299079264.post-27755483117302661162007-09-15T10:05:00.000-05:002007-09-15T10:05:00.000-05:00So what is SWIM?Single Wives In Motion...no, that ...So what is SWIM?

Single Wives In Motion...no, that can't be it

Searching Women in Minnes..no, that's not it either

Seminarians Who Ingest Mercury? I need to follow something so I know how much of what to put in. Plus, does it take much time? It doesn't sound like it.

Also, I don't know that Fadi's hummus can be beat. It's the best I've ever had.

Aunt Sue,

Thanks for the comment! Love to you and Uncle Don, too. I'm really looking forward to watching my movie tonight! What else can you recommend? I mostly like chick flicks and classics, and I'm a big fan of Johnny Depp. I had also picked up Benny and Joon, but I had too many movies and had to put 2 back. I've taken to checking them out from the library lately because it's free. They've really been acquiring a lot of good ones!Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14819041544637116123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1694428577299079264.post-80173951702302226832007-09-14T23:03:00.000-05:002007-09-14T23:03:00.000-05:00Anonymous is right!
